This form can be used to search all of the items matching the keywords below the selected asset.The first field shows the selected asset from where the search will begin.Type your search keywords into the second field.If you want to limit your search to specific data types, then set the
Filter types checkbox. You will get a list of checkboxes, one for each type. Select the types you want to include in the search results.If you want to automatically view the first of the search results, set the
Automatically view top result checkbox.If you want the checkbox to close if there was only one result, set the
Close popup if only one result checkbox.Click the
Search button to perform the search. Your search results will be displayed in a table below the Keywords field.The results table contains the following columns:
Date of last update | Shows the data and time the result asset was last updated. |

Type | Shows an icon of the type of the result asset. Hover your mouse over the icon to see a tooltip with the type name. |

Name | Shows the name of the asset. You can click on the name to view the asset’s details. The search results popup will remain open so that you can browse to other search results. |

Description | Shows the description for the asset. |

Score | This column shows the search score for each result. The score is based on the number of times the keywords appear in the asset’s details. |

By default the results are sorted by the score. You can change the result order by clicking on the table headings. Click twice to reverse the ordering.By default only the first 10 results are shown. You can scroll through the results using the forward/backward buttons. You can also change the number of results that are displayed on one page by changing the “Maximum rows displayed” value and pressing the enter key.Press the
Cancel button or theĀ
button in the top right-hand corner to close the search dialogue box.
