This popup form can be accessed via the sub-project view page options menu in the top header area, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively you can access the copy popup form via the Programmes & Projects tab at the programme view page, or the Sub-projects tab at the project view page, as shown in Figure 2.
Once you are happy with your entries click the “Copy sub-project” button at the bottom of the form. This will copy the sub-project, renaming it if required, and all of its content to the selected project or sub-project.
Click the “Cancel” button if you no longer wish to copy the sub-project.

This form can be used to copy a sub-project and all of its contents to another project or sub-project, or into the same current area but with a different name. You can use the Copy Sub-project function is one of two ways:- Copy a template sub-project to a new location
- Create a baseline of the sub-project

Use the tree navigation layout to select the parent project or sub-project that needs a copy of this sub-project. You can show or hide levels or sub-levels by clicking on the expand or collapse icons. Select the name of your desired parent project or sub-project. Note: names with a cannot be selected. Below this tree navigation section you will be presented with the following fields:Name*: | This is a mandatory field that must contain the sub-project’s original name, or can be edited so that the copied sub-project name differs from the original. The name must be unique within the destination project or sub-project. |
