Remap workflow states

If you have created a new workflow in Psoda and want this workflow to apply to existing assets, this can be done. This functionality is available for admins and can be found on the support page.

To access this page, click on the Support link in the user menu at the bottom left-hand side of the page, as shown in Figure 1. This page provides access to various support functions, depending on your level of Key iconaccess.

In this popup you’ll have two dropdowns. The first field ‘From’ will be the workflow that you want to updated, the second field ‘To’ is the workflow you’d like to remap to.

There is also an asset select field, this field allows you to pick where you want this remap to take place. If for example you were to select the organisation, then any asset that uses that workflow in the organisation will be updated. If a project was selected, then only assets beneath the project will be updated.

The next step of the popup will be where you do the remapping. A dropdown will be shown for each state in your ‘From’ workflow, each dropdown will have all of the states in your ‘To’ workflow.

In the last phase of the popup, a table will show you each asset that will be remapped. This table contains the following columns: Parent, Type, Name, Current Workflow, Current State, New Workflow, New Status.

A checkbox labeled ‘Confirm changes’ is at the bottom of this popup, once you’ve reviewed this table and are ready to remap. Check this box and press the save button.
